SagamoreHill Broadcasting is looking for a passionate and creative Promotions Manager to lead our marketing efforts in the St. Louis, MO DMA.

The ideal candidate should be goal-oriented and able to develop long-lasting partners and community relationships. This position also requires a person who is driven, organized, accountable, ethical, and personable. The Promotions Manager reports to the station’s General Manager, as well as SagamoreHill’s corporate Creative Services Director.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Represent Telemundo St. Louis in the community and build relationships with key partners
  • Manage and drive growth for Telemundo St. Louis’ social media and digital platforms
  • Execute strategies to engage with followers and elevate marketing messages on all platforms
  • Track, evaluate, and interpret weekly and monthly performance analytics to refine social strategies and optimize engagement
  • Strategically promote content from our programming in a timely manner across all social platforms, including Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok
  • Craft compelling, creative, and catchy social copy, in Spanish, that complements visual content and resonates with audience
  • Collaborate with sales department, talent, and other internal teams to enhance the reach and impact of our social media initiatives and campaigns
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging social media platforms, and best practices to continuously innovate and improve our social media presence
  • Create, produce, and execute exceptional marketing/branding/promotional campaigns that will serve as the foundation in the overall image of the stations
  • Work with the production department, ensuring all local content production has a clear message, visual quality and FCC guidelines
  • Organize and manage projects for the creative/production team. Must communicate effectively with the production team to coordinate and execute deadlines and promotional efforts
  • Collaborate with sales department to identify and provide ideas and sponsorable concepts
  • Participate in client, sales, and production meetings
  • Lead the adaptation of news content for digital and social platforms
  • Develop and execute on-air, digital, and social promotional strategies that position the newscast and on-air talent as trusted voices in the community, ensuring consistent brand messaging
  • Work with news leadership to identify priority stories and develop effective on-air, digital, and social promotional strategies that increase viewership and engagement
  • Collaborate with the news team during breaking news to deliver timely, accurate, and compelling promotional messaging across all platforms and supporting live coverage on social media
  • Develop and distribute key creative collateral and material for “out-of-home” branding and marketing campaigns
  • Locally produce, communicate, and oversee marketing plans and initiatives
  • Create, produce, and execute, result driven, promotional tactics and campaigns specifically tailored to grow audience share. These tactics include contests, sweepstakes, initiative campaigns, product placement (clients), and promotional partnerships
  • Create, produce, execute, and attend local marketing events, partner or station-owned events and initiatives
  • Collaborate with producers to create exceptional marketing/branding/promotional videos to promote events in a timely matter
  • Manage premium/swag inventory and fulfill requests for events and prize packages
  • Serve as backup on-air talent for TV and social media
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must be fluent in Spanish (oral, written, reading)
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Must be meticulous and detailed oriented, with strong follow-up skills
  • Solid understanding of digital/social media marketing and analytics tools
  • Ability to take initiative, multi-task, and work independently
  • Experience in marketing or relevant fields
  • Proficient use of Adobe Creative Suite, with CapCut a plus
  • Ability to carry up to 50 lbs
  • Work effectively under pressure and deadlines
  • Strong work ethic, trustworthy, and self-motivated
  • Must be available to work weekends and weeknights, and some holidays on occasion
  • Must possess a driver’s license with a good driving record
